What you'll do

Lead architectural design reviews and provide technical guidance on large-scale, high-impact platform initiatives.
Conduct code reviews for microservices and ensure adherence to established engineering standards and best practices.
Define and promote common design patterns across different business lines and technology domains.
Mentor and coach software development engineers to improve team performance and technical proficiency.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks while communicating impacts clearly to business stakeholders.
Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and automated processes for code quality and performance testing.
Develop long-term technical strategies that balance feature requirements with system scalability and resource efficiency.
Resolve complex dependencies between agile and waterfall delivery efforts to ensure timely project completion.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline is required.
Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
6–10 years of software engineering experience in application development or enterprise architecture at a senior or lead level.
Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot with hands-on experience building production-grade microservices architectures.
Proven ability to design distributed systems using algorithms, data structures, networking, and system scalability.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
Experience with content delivery technologies such as Akamai.
Demonstrated ability to automate code quality, performance testing, and build processes within CI/CD pipelines.
