What you'll do

Define and own the technical architecture strategy for the Digital engineering team to align with business goals.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems while making strategic architectural trade-offs.
Lead architecture design reviews and identify reusable patterns across the organization.
Mentor and coach engineers across all levels to improve the quality of technical output.
Evaluate emerging technologies and manage relationships with external vendors to find innovative solutions.
Analyze delivery metrics to identify operational gaps and steer tactical priorities.
Represent the company's engineering capabilities through public speaking, publications, and industry engagement.
Proactively manage technical and business risks to ensure compliance and ethical standards.

What we're looking for

10 or more years of experience in an enterprise architecture role with deep subject matter expertise in one or more technology domains.
Ability to architect and deliver secure, performant, and scalable solutions across cloud platforms including AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Akamai.
Hands-on expertise with web and mobile frameworks including Angular and iOS and Android native development.
Ability to work independently at a senior level making high-impact architectural decisions without day-to-day guidance from senior leaders.
Track record of leading cross-functional technical discussions with product, program, and engineering stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
Experience evaluating external technology vendors and active participation in the technology community through speaking or writing (preferred).
