You will utilize tools such as Grafana, Kibana, ELK, and CloudWatch to improve observability. To succeed, you must possess expertise in SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Terraform. This role addresses the critical challenge of maintaining mission-critical financial applications within a 24x7 operational support environment through proactive problem management and automation.

What you'll do

Act as the L3 escalation point for major production incidents involving database and cloud infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring operational issues.
Manage and optimize performance for PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, and other enterprise databases.
Provide technical support and capacity planning for AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
Develop automation scripts to reduce manual operational tasks and improve platform reliability.
Implement vulnerability remediation plans and manage database access controls to ensure security compliance.
Create and maintain monitoring dashboards, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during change management and production events.

What we're looking for

8–12+ years of database administration and production support experience.
5+ years supporting cloud-hosted database platforms.
Experience supporting mission-critical financial applications.
Experience working within 24x7 operational support environments.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
