What you'll do

Act as the L3 escalation point for major production incidents involving databases and cloud infrastructure.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring operational issues.
Administer and optimize PostgreSQL, Redshift, and Snowflake databases for performance and availability.
Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM to ensure platform stability.
Configure monitoring solutions and develop dashboards to improve observability across cloud platforms.
Implement vulnerability remediation plans and manage database access reviews to ensure security compliance.
Automate manual operational tasks and develop SOPs to improve platform resiliency.
Conduct disaster recovery testing and validation for mission-critical financial applications.

What we're looking for

8–12+ years of database administration and production support experience.
5+ years supporting cloud-hosted database platforms.
Experience supporting mission-critical financial applications.
Experience working within 24x7 operational support environments.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in AWS services including RDS, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.
Skills in SQL, Python, Shell Scripting, and Ansible.
Experience with Terraform (preferred).
