Data Center Operations and Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage rack, stack, power, cabling, deployment, decommissioning, and migration of equipment within the critical facility.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and lead outage response activities to ensure rapid resolution.
• Coordinate change activities, maintenance work, technical project execution, and resource planning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot structured cabling infrastructure to meet capacity and operational requirements.
• Develop and execute MOPs and technical procedures to ensure safe and impactful work.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours incidents and urgent issues.
• Document incident details and root cause analyses to support continuous improvement.
• Interface with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain data center infrastructure and services.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 to 5+ years of experience installing and supporting switches, routers, servers, and rack-mounted equipment in a data center or critical facility.
• Experience supporting high-speed data, voice, IP, and network infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of power systems including PDUs, ATSs, and UPSs.
• Understanding of data center power and HVAC environments.
• Exposure to AI tools, automation, or data-driven technologies (preferred).
• Familiarity with DCIM tools, ticketing systems, and data center support platforms (preferred).
