Data Center Operations and Design Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage rack, stack, power, cabling, deployment, decommissioning, and migration of equipment in a critical facility.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and lead outage response activities to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate change activities, maintenance work, technical project execution, and resource planning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot structured cabling infrastructure to meet daily capacity requirements.
• Develop and execute MOPs and technical procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours incidents and urgent issues.
• Document incident details and actions taken to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Interface with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain data center infrastructure and services.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2–5+ years of experience installing and supporting switches, routers, servers, and rack-mounted equipment in a data center.
• Must possess knowledge of high-speed data, voice, IP, and network infrastructure.
• Requires working knowledge of power systems including PDUs, ATSs, and UPSs.
• Requires an understanding of data center power and HVAC environments.
• Ability to plan installations, manage inventory, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Preferred experience with AI tools, automation, or data-driven technologies.
• Preferred familiarity with DCIM tools, ticketing systems, and data center support platforms.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent coursework and experience may be considered.
