Data Center Hardware Engineering - Hardware System Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead hardware system design and schematic capture for high-performance compute platforms.
• Perform signal integrity simulation, board bring-up, and hands-on debugging from system level down to component level.
• Develop functional specifications, validation procedures, and integration documentation for complex systems.
• Validate high-speed digital interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and DDR memory.
• Lead factory build support and sustaining engineering activities through mass production.
• Conduct systematic root cause analysis of hardware failures using standard electrical engineering lab instrumentation.
• Apply DFM, DFT, and DFA principles to ensure reliable and cost-effective manufacturability at scale.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of relevant industry work experience in hardware or systems engineering.
• Expertise in low-speed and high-speed digital interfaces including I2C/SMBus, SPI, JTAG, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR memory.
• Experience in circuit design across power, digital, analog, high-speed communications, and programmable logic domains.
• Ability to bring up, characterize, and debug complex hardware using standard EE lab equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• High-speed PCB design experience with 10+ layer boards, including material selection and stack-up definition.
• Proficiency in schematic entry and high-speed PCB layout constraint management using Cadence tools or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills for producing functional specifications, integration procedures, and technical documentation.
