Data Center Hardware Engineering - Hardware System Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Perform hardware system design and schematic capture for server main logic boards and companion boards.
• Conduct signal integrity simulations, board bring-up, and hands-on debugging from the system level down to component levels.
• Develop functional specifications, validation plans, and integration documentation for complex system designs.
• Execute validation of high-speed digital interfaces including PCIe, Ethernet, USB, and DDR memory.
• Resolve hardware issues through systematic root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
• Apply DFM, DFT, and DFA principles to ensure reliable and cost-effective manufacturability at scale.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and factory builds, including providing on-site support at overseas manufacturing locations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant industry work experience in hardware or systems engineering.
• Working knowledge of low-speed and high-speed digital interfaces including I2C/SMBus, SPI, JTAG, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR memory.
• Broad circuit design experience across power, digital, analog, high-speed communications, and programmable logic domains.
• Experience with PCB bring-up and characterization using standard EE lab equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
• Demonstrated ability to debug complex hardware issues from the system level down to the circuit level.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills for producing technical documentation and functional specifications.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred); 7+ years of relevant industry work experience (preferred).
