Data Center Hardware Engineering - Hardware System Integration Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and specify high-performance compute solutions based on specific customer requirements.
• Perform electrical design, schematic capture, and provide guidance for complex board layouts.
• Conduct simulation, bringup, and debugging of hardware systems from the system level down to the transistor level.
• Validate customized compute designs and ensure compliance with high-speed digital interface standards.
• Provide technical support during the factory build process to ensure successful mass production.
• Develop functional specifications, procedures, and technical documentation for complex system integrations.
• Manage design constraints for high-speed PCBs using industry-standard tools like Cadence.
• Develop automation and data manipulation scripts to support engineering workflows.

What we're looking for

• BS in electrical or computer engineering required.
• MS degree preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant industry work experience.
• Knowledge of design and validation for low-speed and high-speed digital interfaces like I2C, SPI, JTAG, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, and DDR Memory.
• Ability to debug problems from the system-level down to the transistor level.
• Experience with high-speed board design (10+ layers), schematic entry, and Cadence tools.
• Proficiency in using standard EE lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers for bringup and debug.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills for developing functional specifications and documentation.
