The Cyber Security Presales Solutions Architect joins the team to combine strategic pre-sales with consulting-led solutioning as a trusted advisor. This role involves translating client business priorities into actionable security transformation roadmaps, driving proactive pipeline growth through deep farming of existing accounts, and owning the end-to-end lifecycle of integrated cybersecurity deals. Key responsibilities include leading RFP responses, conducting client workshops, and architecting outcome-driven solutions for consulting, system integration, and managed security services. The architect must utilize deep knowledge of cloud security, zero trust, data security, identity, SIEM, and AI-driven security platforms. Core competencies include evaluating commercial constructs like pricing models and risk transfer while ensuring alignment with global standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, SAS70, SOC1, and FISMA.
Drive proactive pipeline growth and own the end-to-end lifecycle of integrated cybersecurity deals.
Translate client business priorities into actionable security transformation roadmaps and target-state architectures.
Lead RFP/RFI responses, client workshops, and solution defense discussions for complex security deals.
Evaluate commercial constructs including pricing models, risk transfer, and margin implications of security solutions.
Provide CISO-level advisory and thought leadership to enhance deal winnability and long-term sustainability.
Integrate OEMs, hyperscalers, and niche partners into presales strategies to enhance commercial relevance.
Create high-quality client artifacts including presentations, proposal responses, and security designs.
Support engineers and SMEs in developing technical solutions across consulting, SI, and managed services.
What we're looking for
17+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity-led infrastructure, application, and digital engineering offerings, delivery models, and secure-by-design solutioning.
Broad cybersecurity technology depth across legacy, cloud, zero trust, data security, identity, endpoint, SIEM, and AI-driven security platforms.
Deep insight into global IT and cybersecurity outsourcing trends, including industry-specific risk, regulatory, and build-vs-buy considerations.
Ability to assess security solution components for commercial impact, risk transfer, pricing models, and delivery scalability.
Full lifecycle project experience as a Security Consultant covering consultancy, architecture definition, and solution implementation.
Hands-on experience delivering data centre and cloud security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC, DLP, SIEM, and IAM.
Strong familiarity with compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, NIST, SAS70, SOC1, and FISMA.
Preferred certifications including CCIE, CCSE, CISSP, CISA, CISM, and CRISC (preferred).
Experience advising customers on architectures aligned with industry and regulatory standards (preferred).
