As a CPU Performance Research Engineer within the CPU Architecture group, you will drive innovation in next-generation CPU performance, efficiency, and scalability. You will perform self-guided exploratory studies to evaluate novel microarchitectures and disruptive performance ideas well ahead of product definition. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing workloads to identify bottlenecks, prototyping features in architectural performance models, and collaborating with RTL and design teams to assess implementation costs for new features.
