What you'll do

Lead should-cost modeling and DFC/DFM cost analysis for semiconductor components.
Perform technical analysis including teardown reviews and manufacturing process evaluation.

Drive cost engineering initiatives from concept through production ramp.
Validate supplier cost structures and support negotiation strategies with suppliers.

What we're looking for

At least 8 years of cost engineering or should-costing experience.
Strong understanding of at least two manufacturing processes.
Experience working directly with engineering teams on product design.
Supplier-facing experience including RFQ support, cost validation, and negotiation.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority.
Expertise in Design for Cost (DFC) and value engineering.
Strong communication skills to translate complex analysis into actionable decisions.
