As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lam, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing cutting-edge mechanical and electro-mechanical systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. Your responsibilities include supporting the entire lifecycle of these systems from concept through productization, involving detailed design, CAD modeling, and rigorous testing. You will work with various materials such as metals, ceramics, plastics, and advanced coatings while ensuring compliance with SEMI standards and industry best practices for GD&T. Proficiency in 3D Nx Tool or equivalent software is essential, along with experience in structural, thermal, and fluid delivery system design through theoretical analysis and FEA modeling. Additionally, you will conduct feasibility studies, develop test plans, prepare technical reports, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure high-quality manufacturing, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires extensive hands-on experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
