What you'll do

  • Lead technical program execution for aircraft engine controls supporting military advanced technology and new product programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across systems, software, hardware, and mechanical design to meet project goals.
  • Drive the development of control requirements, architecture definition, logic design, integration, and validation.
  • Utilize the FLIGHT DECK operating model to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Establish and maintain Standard Work to document processes and enable continuous improvement.
  • Use visual management and operating cadences to track progress, identify gaps, and escalate issues.
  • Mentor engineers and serve as a technical point of contact for customer relationships.
  • Ensure all technical data is documented in accordance with engineering policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience related to aircraft engine controls systems and software development.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to obtain and maintain a required U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Must meet the status of a U.S. Person for access to export-controlled information.
  • Experience developing engine controls logic utilizing MATLAB/Simulink environment and related toolset.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex technical programs, integrated product teams, or cross-functional engineering work scopes.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineers while serving as a customer interface.
  • Familiarity with NPSS simulation tools.
