As the Content Sr Manager of Software Engineering within the Consumer & Community Banking Content Management team, you will provide technical coaching, oversight, and direction for a team of entry-level to mid-level software engineers. You are responsible for managing resources, budgets, and tactical operations while scaling operating practices for enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and SDLC automation. Your daily work involves developing and enhancing content platforms using Java Full Stack technologies, React, and Next.js to enable headless content APIs across digital channels. You will design and deploy scalable cloud-native applications on AWS using EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway. The role focuses on building secure external-facing applications while ensuring high standards for performance, resiliency, and scalability within a complex financial services environment, specifically addressing the technical challenges of content lifecycle management across various digital platforms.

What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
At least 2 years of experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise.
Experience managing teams of technologists, including hiring, developing, and recognizing talent across various levels.
Experience leading multi-team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and ensuring responsible AI use in engineering workflows.
Expert level coding skills in Java Full Stack, React, and Next.js.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
Experience building secure external facing applications using secure coding practices.
Experience with Content Management Systems (preferred); experience in a large Financial Services or Banking Technology environment (preferred).
