As a Content Management Sr Lead Software Engineer, you will join the Consumer & Community Banking Digital Content Management team to build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. What you'll do

Develop and enhance content platforms using Java Full Stack, React, and Next.js technologies.
Design and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
Develop secure production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Provide technical guidance and direction to business teams, contractors, and external vendors.
Design solutions that prioritize modularity, performance, resiliency, and scalability.
Build secure external-facing applications while utilizing AI agents to optimize code and solve friction points.
Serve as a subject matter expert to influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Expert level coding skills in Java Full Stack, React, and Next.js.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and coaching others on compliant usage.
Experience building secure external-facing applications using secure coding practices.
Strong technical leadership and mentoring experience with software engineers in an Agile environment.
Experience with Content Management Systems (preferred).
Experience in a very large Financial Services or Banking Technology environment (preferred).
