What you'll do

Manage day-to-day implementation activities for multiple teams while ensuring compliance with business requirements and technical standards.
Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and performance expectations to a team of software engineers.
Lead the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed and quality.
Develop high-quality production code using Test Driven Development in a Continuous Integration environment.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex technical solutions that go beyond routine or conventional approaches.
Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead feature design and development while shaping the overall strategy and direction of the program.
Prototype and deliver AI-enabled workflows by translating stakeholder needs into technical designs.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.
Experience managing technology professionals and leading technology projects.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as React JS, CSS/HTML, JAVA, Spring Framework, or AWS Cloud.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Practical experience with AWS services including EKS, ECS, PostgreSQL, Lambda, and S3; AWS Certification (preferred).
