What you'll do

Guide a team of software engineers on daily tasks and technical activities.

Lead the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed.
Manage stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with service level agreements and business requirements.
Identify and escalate risks or issues to ensure work meets technical and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with other teams to manage dependencies for product and application delivery.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technology projects from planning through production readiness.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.
Experience managing technologists.
Proficiency in Java or Python with working knowledge of SQL and React.js.
Extensive hands-on experience with RDBMS, specifically Oracle and PostgreSQL, including design and optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure tools like Terraform, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, and AWS S3.
Experience with AI technology stacks, including model integration, MLOps, and data pipelines.
Proven experience leading end-to-end technology projects and managing stakeholder relationships in the financial services industry.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
Experience working at code level (preferred).
Experience with TypeScript and UI design systems (preferred).
Strong soft skills including presenting, negotiating, and stakeholder management (preferred).
