JOB TITLE: Consulting Manager, Horizon Business Analyst
As a Consulting Manager, Horizon Business Analyst, you will join the Core Banking Consulting team to lead business analysis for core banking transformation, modernization, and implementation initiatives. You will translate complex banking needs into functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications while facilitating workshops and discovery sessions. Your daily work involves analyzing current-state processes, performing gap analysis against platform capabilities, and serving as a functional liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You must possess deep retail and commercial banking domain knowledge and hands-on experience with the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform. Key competencies include requirements elicitation, functional design reviews, testing, and defect resolution to support large-scale core banking upgrades, enhancements, and modernization programs within the financial services industry.
Lead business analysis for core banking transformation, modernization, and implementation initiatives on the FIS Horizon platform.
Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and discovery sessions to translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories.
Analyze current-state banking processes and perform gap analysis between client requirements and platform capabilities.
Serve as the functional liaison between client business teams and technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support requirements validation, functional design reviews, testing, and defect resolution.
Apply retail and commercial banking domain knowledge to guide project teams and ensure deliverable quality.
Mentor Business Analysts to ensure consistency and quality across all project deliverables.
What we're looking for
7+ years of professional experience with significant experience in Business Analysis within banking or financial services.
Hands-on working and/or implementation experience with the FIS Horizon Core Banking platform.
Strong Business Analysis experience including requirements elicitation, documentation, process analysis, gap analysis, and functional requirements definition.
Strong knowledge of retail and commercial banking processes, products, and core banking operations.
Excellent client-facing, facilitation, analytical, and communication skills to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
Previous consulting or client-facing delivery experience within banking and financial services (preferred).
Experience working on large-scale core banking transformation or modernization programs (preferred).
Experience supporting testing, UAT, implementation readiness, data migration, system integration, or post-production activities (preferred).
