The Business Analyst Consultant - Advance Analytics joins the Advanced Analytics team to serve as a business-facing partner across the Consumer Markets Division. This role involves uncovering business initiatives and pain points within Finance, Underwriting, Sales, Product, and Fraud departments to orchestrate analytics solutions. You will translate business needs into clear requirements, manage delivery roadmaps, and own initiatives end-to-end by coordinating with Analytics Engineering, Data Visualization, and Data Science teams. Key responsibilities include defining success metrics, tracking adoption, and identifying practical use cases for AI agents and GenAI tooling. Required skills include a strong working understanding of Snowflake, Tableau, and Power BI. You must demonstrate the ability to navigate data structures, validate outputs, and communicate fluently between business stakeholders and technical engineering partners in a regulated industry.
Uncover business initiatives, pain points, and value drivers through active discovery with stakeholders in Finance, Underwriting, Sales, Product, and Fraud.
Translate business needs into clear analytics requirements, success criteria, and prioritized delivery roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals.
Orchestrate delivery by engaging Analytics Engineering, Data Visualization, and Data Science teams to define scope and remove blockers.
Own analytics initiatives end-to-end by managing milestones, risks, and stakeholder communication from intake through adoption.
Drive continuous improvement post-launch by tracking adoption, capturing feedback, and partnering with delivery teams on enhancements.
Measure and communicate ROI by defining benefit metrics upfront and reporting realized business value to leadership.
Identify practical use cases for AI agents and GenAI tooling to solve specific business problems.
What we're looking for
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Analytics Manager, Solutions Owner, Analytics Delivery Manager, Product Owner, or similar role.
4-year degree or equivalent experience.
Proven ability to engage stakeholders, diagnose pain points, and translate needs into clear analytics requirements and delivery plans.
Demonstrated experience owning analytics initiatives end-to-end, managing scope, milestones, risks, and communication across multiple teams.
Strong working understanding of Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouses to navigate data structures and validate outputs.
Strong working understanding of modern BI platforms like Tableau and Power BI to interpret dashboards and validate visualizations.
Experience partnering with Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Visualization teams to deliver analytics products.
Hands-on fluency with Snowflake and modern BI platforms, including running queries and validating results (preferred).
