What you'll do

  • Lead SRA workstreams for ingredient, product, label, and claims compliance across multiple beverage categories.
  • Review and approve product formulas, ingredient lists, packaging artwork, and digital content for U.S. and Canadian regulatory compliance.
  • Provide cross-functional partners with clear regulatory assessments that balance risk management with innovation goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance barriers early in the development cycle.
  • Perform competitive assessments of claims to identify whitespace opportunities and inform innovation strategy.
  • Maintain SRA digital tools, systems, and frameworks to improve process efficiency and ensure consistency across markets.
  • Provide regulatory guidance regarding nutrition, ingredients, and product information in response to consumer and advocacy requests.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field required.
  • Master’s degree or advanced certification in regulatory, quality, nutrition, or compliance preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Scientific & Regulatory Affairs or technical compliance within the food and beverage industry or CPG environment.
  • Familiarity with North American regulatory landscapes, including FDA and Health Canada requirements for labeling, ingredients, and claims.
  • Experience reviewing product formulations, packaging artwork, and digital communications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in using digital regulatory tools and enterprise systems to manage formula governance and SRA workflows.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex science and regulations into actionable information.
  • Ability to perform data analysis for risk assessment and identify whitespace opportunities for innovation strategy.
