What you'll do

Architect, design, and develop high-performance network data plane platforms for containerized workloads in the cloud.
Lead a team of engineers to deliver complex infrastructure projects with a focus on production quality.
Drive technical initiatives involving networking, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tenancy across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Manage and optimize large-scale distributed systems for both customer and internal connectivity.
Engage with the upstream open source community to integrate and build upon existing software.
Troubleshoot complex issues within a stack of microservices, containers, and virtualization technologies.
Optimize network data plane performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across multiple cloud providers.

What we're looking for

Master's Degree (preferred).
10+ years of relevant cloud infrastructure or cloud networking experience.
Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development.
Experience building and operating large-scale systems.
Experience leading a team of engineers to deliver complex infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in C++, Go, Python, or other statically typed languages.
Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing Layer 7 proxies like Envoy.
Open source contributions to CNCF projects, Kubernetes Networking experience, and a strong networking background (preferred).
