What you'll do

Architect and develop cloud-native, multi-tenant backend services for the Stream Governance platform.
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex microservices in a distributed environment.
Drive projects from initial requirements and design through production rollout and ongoing operation.
Make critical architecture decisions balancing reliability, scalability, performance, and operability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers through code reviews and design guidance.
Maintain mission-critical services with a 99.99 SLA across 100+ AWS, GCP, and Azure regions.
Evaluate and enhance the technology stack to adopt state-of-the-art industry solutions.
Partner with stakeholders to create and execute the roadmap for the Data Streaming Platform.

What we're looking for

Master's Degree (preferred).
8+ years of industry experience designing, building, scaling, and operating backend systems in production.
Deep proficiency in at least one major backend language (Java, Go, C/C++, or Python) and strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput services.
Strong experience running production services in a public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including containerized workloads like Docker and Kubernetes.
Expertise in cloud-native technology, networking, security, and experience participating in an on-call rotation.
Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and coordinating technical teams and projects.
Experience building or operating mission-critical, multi-tenant, or multi-region services with strict availability requirements (preferred).
Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Flink (preferred).
