What you'll do

  • Build and evolve a multi-tenant, cloud-native compute substrate for diverse workloads across global Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop control planes for multi-cluster workload placement, lifecycle management, and state tracking.
  • Design and implement platform APIs and Kubernetes operators using Go to support polyglot workload requirements.
  • Implement security features including workload isolation, network policies, and secure execution environments.
  • Drive operational excellence through monitoring integration, automated health checks, and self-healing capabilities.
  • Lead technical design reviews and drive architectural decisions across different organizational boundaries.
  • Mentor and grow other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Manage infrastructure reliability including performance monitoring, emergency response, and disaster recovery.

What we're looking for

  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience delivering scalable software solutions.
  • Proven track record of leading the delivery of large-scale, highly available, low-latency systems.
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes including controller development, operator patterns, and multi-cluster architectures.
  • Strong proficiency in Go with experience building production-grade distributed systems.
  • Experience with multi-tenant platform architectures and security isolation patterns.
  • Experience with observability tools, multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and technical leadership (preferred).
