Staff Product Manager, Cloud Networking

What you'll do

• Own the platform strategy and multi-year roadmap for Confluent Cloud Networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Define frameworks and standards for connection model selection, cost attribution, and security control frameworks.
• Drive architectural decisions in partnership with engineering leadership by weighing trade-offs between user experience and cost.
• Identify and build business cases for adjacent areas like network observability and cost transparency tooling.
• Mentor Senior PMs and provide feedback on product documents, roadmap thinking, and customer research.
• Secure organizational investment by presenting the platform vision and business cases to executive leadership.
• Define and own success metrics connecting technical milestones to revenue, retention, and infrastructure cost efficiency.
• Engage with strategic customers and enterprise CTOs to represent the product roadmap in technical conversations.

• Build alignment across product, engineering, sales, legal, and security organizations to secure executive investment.
• Define and own success metrics connecting technical milestones to revenue, retention, and infrastructure cost efficiency.
• Engage in technical conversations with enterprise CTOs, architects, and network engineers regarding the product roadmap.
