What you'll do

  • Plan and coordinate project documentation including engineering drawings, production specifications, and contract modifications.
  • Analyze proposed product design changes to determine their impact on overall systems and manage modification records.
  • Establish change orders and prepare documentation for authorization by the company and subcontractors.
  • Manage configuration items through formal control processes including Engineering Change Requests and Drawing Revision Notices.
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure all components are clearly identified and controlled in CM tools.
  • Conduct configuration audits and peer reviews to verify compliance with documented requirements and engineering specifications.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Contract/Supplier Delivery Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to meet contractual obligations.
  • Develop solutions for complex issues and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application.
  • For Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience, Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
  • For Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years experience, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
  • Knowledge of CDM principles related to hardware configuration, data, and change management.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Adobe.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as SharePoint, Atlassian tools, Windchill, Enovia, or EPLM.
  • Strong understanding of CDM functions, aerospace industry processes, and best practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with software configuration, build management, and aerospace standards like ISO 9001 or AS9100 (preferred).
