What you'll do

Develop and maintain configuration management policies and standards based on SAE EIA-649 and contract requirements.
Establish and manage configuration baselines for hardware, software, documentation, and other project artifacts.
Manage change orders, authorization documentation, and coordinate engineering changes with manufacturing and quality teams.
Utilize Siemens Teamcenter as the system of record for controlling document status and bills of material.
Lead configuration control boards to analyze proposed design changes and determine their impact on systems.
Ensure traceability from requirements through design, build, test, and release phases.
Perform functional and physical configuration audits to identify and remedy discrepancies.
Create CM metrics and dashboards to report compliance and improvement opportunities to senior leadership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in configuration management, change management, or product lifecycle management roles.
Practical knowledge of configuration management principles including versioning, baselines, item identification, change control, traceability, and audits.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and version control tools such as Git, Jira, and TCUA.
Proficiency in utilizing and managing Siemens Teamcenter and SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present status and recommendations to executive leadership.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
