What you'll do

Manage the end-to-end commissioning process for multi-million-dollar data center construction projects in the Phoenix metro area.
Conduct on-site inspections to review Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and active testing processes.
Develop and maintain commissioning procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Manage contracted Commissioning Agents and provide oversight of vendor performance using scorecard metrics.
Track and report project progress regarding scope, schedule, budget, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to align on project goals and requirements.
Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs), expenditure reports, and other necessary project approval tools.
Develop long-term delivery strategies that align with the corporate roadmap and technical requirements.

What we're looking for

Must have a Doctorate and 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or a Master's and 4+ years, or a Bachelor's and 5+ years.
Alternatively, must have at least 12 years of relevant technical engineering experience.
Degree must be in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Must be able to perform work in the field on a construction project.
Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
Construction Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) (preferred).
Ability to develop and write detailed Commissioning Scripts (preferred).
Commissioning Certification, OSHA 30 or equivalent, NFPA-70E, or PMP certification (preferred).
