Commissioning Manager

What you'll do

• Manage the end-to-end commissioning process for multi-million-dollar data center construction projects in the assigned metro.
• Conduct on-site inspections to review Quality Assurance, Quality Control (QA/QC), and active testing processes.
• Develop and maintain commissioning procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Manage contracted Commissioning Agents and provide oversight of vendor performance through scorecard tracking.
• Track and report project progress regarding scope, schedule, budget, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to align on project goals and requirements.
• Develop commissioning scripts and refine delivery strategies in alignment with the corporate roadmap.
• Prepare project approval tools including Requests for Proposal and Project Expenditure Reports.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Doctorate and 2+ years of technical engineering experience, or a Master's and 4+ years, or a Bachelor's and 5+ years.
• Alternatively, must have at least 12 years of relevant technical engineering experience.
• Degree must be in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be able to perform work in the field on a construction project.
• Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check.
• Construction Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) (preferred).
• Ability to develop and write detailed Commissioning Scripts (preferred).
• Commissioning Certification, OSHA 30 or equivalent, NFPA-70E, or PMP certification (preferred).
