This position addresses critical requirements for the Sentinel Command Systems, focusing on custom hardware integration and ensuring all components meet rigorous nuclear surety and program-specific standards.

What you'll do

  • Lead hardware engineering execution for the Sentinel Command Systems Launch Execution Subsystem portfolio.
  • Direct the implementation of integrated hardware engineering processes across all national and subcontractor locations.
  • Manage earned value metrics, product quality, and auditing functions for subsystem design and development.
  • Oversee the technical integration of custom hardware and supplier solutions into the weapon system.
  • Perform proactive risk and opportunity management throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and resource coordination for engineering staff across various efforts.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding technical and programmatic topics of interest.
  • Support business development and capture activities as required by the organization.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master’s and 8 years of experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing people.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and developing hardware.
  • At least 3 years of experience with EVMS on hardware development programs.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with an investigation completed within the last 5 years.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • ICBM or complex aerospace systems experience (preferred); Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience (preferred).
