Director, Systems Support and Training

What you'll do

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team responsible for training and system adoption.
• Establish and own the end-to-end support model, including triage workflows and on-call rotations.
• Define and track operational SLAs to prevent bottlenecks on the production floor.
• Translate frontline tickets and system bugs into prioritized roadmap features for Engineering and Product teams.
• Architect role-based training programs and certifications for shop-floor operators and manufacturing engineers.
• Design and execute change management plans for new system rollouts and major software releases.
• Partner with Factory Operations, Quality, and IT to align tooling with real-world operational workflows.
• Serve as the executive escalation point for production-blocking software issues.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in software, systems, or manufacturing engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams, including experience managing managers or readiness to do so.
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise production systems at scale, such as MES, ERP, MRP, WMS, or PLM.
• Strong systems architecture judgment regarding data modeling, systems of record, and integration patterns.
• Direct experience delivering software into a live manufacturing environment with post-go-live accountability.
• Track record of operating across manufacturing, supply chain, and planning functional boundaries.
• Experience standing up or scaling an internal engineering function inside a manufacturing or industrial company (preferred).
• Hands-on background with Oracle ERP and modern application/platform stacks (preferred).
