As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will join the team to design and develop cloud-based technical architectures that improve mission-critical applications for the law enforcement industry. You will be responsible for researching current environments to recommend tools and solutions while ensuring standards are met throughout the migration process. Your daily work involves translating complex business and security requirements into long-term strategies across multi-platform environments like AWS GovCloud, Nutanix, and cross-domain solutions. You will utilize a technical stack including Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Python, .NET, or C# for automation. Additionally, you will manage secure hybrid architectures in air-gapped environments using Cisco networking, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and various identity management systems like Entra ID or Keycloak to solve critical challenges within restricted infrastructure and high-security data environments.
Design cloud-based technical architectures that meet client needs and leverage modern cloud capabilities.
Develop cloud solutions for mission-critical applications within the law enforcement industry.
Recommend specific tools and solutions based on research of current on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Translate mission, business, and security requirements into long-term cloud architecture strategies.
Ensure technical standards are met throughout the entire cloud migration process.
Design secure cloud, hybrid, or multi-enclave architectures for air-gapped or restricted environments.
Implement DevSecOps pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation in disconnected systems.
Manage security architecture, governance, and accreditation processes such as RMF or ICD-503.
What we're looking for
Experience designing secure cloud, hybrid, or multi-enclave architectures in air-gapped or restricted environments.
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and IaC automation like Terraform, Ansible, or GitLab CI/CD in disconnected systems.
Experience in security architecture, governance, accreditation (RMF or ICD-503), and identity/access controls for cloud and on-prem platforms.
Experience leading architecture efforts across multi-platform environments including AWS GovCloud, SC2S/C2S, Nutanix, and cross-domain solutions.
Knowledge of network architectures for classified systems, including Cisco routing, IPSec, DMVPN, SD-WAN, and boundary controls.
Ability to translate mission, business, and security requirements into long-term cloud architecture strategies.
Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience, Master's with 5+ years experience, or 12+ years experience in technical/program management without a degree.
