As a Cloud Security Architect on the Information Security team, you will serve as a subject matter expert to design, secure, and assess enterprise-scale public cloud environments. You will partner with engineering and product teams to embed security into architectures, platforms, and workflows across AWS, while providing support for Azure and GCP. Your daily responsibilities include identifying risks, creating technical artifacts, designing least-privilege IAM policies, and reviewing AI/ML workloads for data protection. You will evaluate CSPM/CNAPP tools, mentor junior staff, and develop architectural standards. Required skills include proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js, experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. You will solve complex security challenges within decentralized, hybrid, and multi-account environments to ensure robust infrastructure for large-scale cloud platforms.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing authoritative guidance on public cloud security architecture and engineering.
Identify cloud security risks across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments and design mitigation strategies.
Create actionable architecture and security design artifacts for internal teams and third-party vendors.
Review and validate secure network, compute, container, and serverless architectures with product teams.
Provide hands-on IAM guidance to ensure least-privilege access models are implemented across cloud environments.
Advise development teams on secure design patterns and data protection for AI/ML workloads.
Evaluate cloud security vendors and tools including CSPM and CNAPP platforms through proof-of-value assessments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural standards, reference designs, and configuration guidelines.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience with 6-8 years of experience.
Proven experience designing, building, and securing AWS-based cloud environments.
Working knowledge and hands-on experience in Azure is required; exposure to GCP is a plus.
Proficiency in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Node.js.
Strong foundational knowledge of IP networking concepts including routing, VPNs, DNS, and network segmentation.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Familiarity with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to automate security processes and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
