As a Cloud Securty Architect, you will join a team dedicated to securing mission-critical applications for the Intelligence Community. You will evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes to ensure Information Technology systems meet Information Assurance and security requirements. Your daily responsibilities include defining risk thresholds, analyzing compliance, and codifying strategic objectives into doctrine, policies, and procedures. You will assess computer applications and software for assurance best practices while recommending tools for on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the Risk Management Framework. Required skills include experience with the Risk Management Framework, Agile development, and Jira. You must possess a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and hold an IAT II or IAT III certification, such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.
Guide the development of cloud-based security architectures for mission-critical systems.
Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
Define organization risk thresholds and analyze actual state information to assess compliance.
Codify strategic objectives into doctrine, policies, and procedures.
Evaluate computer applications and software to ensure software assurance best practices are followed.
Recommend tools and capabilities to address risks within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Ensure IC clients meet standards for information assurance and security requirements.
What we're looking for
5+ years of experience developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans and contingency plans.
5+ years of experience with cloud security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
5+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Experience working in an Agile development environment using the Jira tracking tool.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience with Information Assurance and security requirements, or a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
IAT II certification, such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC, or IAT III certification.
Experience with SDLC, cloud technologies, leadership, and communication skills (preferred); Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
