Cloud Cybersecurity Architect

What you'll do

• Design and evolve secure cloud architecture patterns for Azure and other platforms including IaaS, PaaS, and containers.
• Define and maintain cloud security reference architectures and reusable patterns aligned with enterprise standards.
• Perform security architecture and design reviews for cloud-based initiatives and third-party integrations.
• Evaluate designs against threat models, security best practices, and acceptable risk thresholds.
• Provide architectural guidance for cloud identity models, including SSO, MFA, and privileged access.
• Contribute to secure CI/CD and DevSecOps architecture patterns in partnership with application teams.
• Translate security standards and policies into practical cloud architecture guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document security architecture decisions, risks, and approved deviations using architecture decision records.

What we're looking for

• Typically 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture or information security.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Solid background in IT risk management or architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of identity management, cryptography, network security, logging, and data protection.
• Ability to assess architectural risk and align designs to security best practices and threat models.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual.
• ITAR product and therefore be authorized to access product.
