Cloud Security Architect

What you'll do

• Define cloud security requirements and translate policy into actionable operational processes.
• Develop cloud accreditation frameworks, security policies, and baseline controls.
• Guide systems through the accreditation and authorization process.
• Design assessment methodologies and establish continuous monitoring strategies.
• Implement secure baselines for networking, identity, secrets management, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure compliance with DoD requirements and governance frameworks.
• Utilize cloud-native tools to automate continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) objectives.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, engineering, or cloud cyber operations in AWS, Azure, or IaaS.
• Experience designing and implementing secure baselines for networking, identity, secrets management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance.
• Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience defining security control baselines and overlays (preferred).
• Experience with Cloud Native tools to support automation of continuous Authorization to Operate (cATO) objectives (preferred).
• Knowledge of cloud security domains, network boundary technology, NIST frameworks, RMF, STIGs, Zero Trust, and cloud governance models (preferred).
• Bachelors degree.
