Cloud Security Architect, Mid

What you'll do

• Design and guide the development of cloud-based security architectures for mission-critical systems.
• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes to ensure IT systems meet security requirements.
• Analyze actual state information against defined risk thresholds to assess organizational compliance.
• Codify strategic objectives into formal doctrine, policies, and procedures.
• Evaluate computer applications and software programs to ensure they follow software assurance best practices.
• Recommend specific tools and capabilities based on research of on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Apply the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to address security risks in client environments.

What we're looking for

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• 3+ years of experience developing and evaluating security documentation including system security plans and contingency plans.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years of experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with Information Assurance and security requirements are required.
• A High School diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience with Information Assurance and security requirements are acceptable.
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification is required.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using the Jira tracking tool.
