As a Camera System Engineer on the Camera Systems team, you will focus on essential camera features for Snapdragon platforms. What you'll do

Design and develop camera system algorithms for HDR, low-light enhancement, tone mapping, stabilization, and noise reduction.
Integrate imaging algorithms into end-to-end pipelines across ISP, DSP, GPU, and CPU architectures.
Optimize camera solutions for performance, power consumption, latency, and scalability across multiple platforms.
Support feature enablement and customization for specific customer programs.
Develop ML-assisted or hybrid ISP imaging solutions to improve image quality.
Drive the adoption and commercialization of camera features for Qualcomm products.

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience is required.
A Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 1+ year of experience is required.
A PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is accepted as an alternative qualification.
Candidates must have a strong background in image processing, computer vision, or camera systems.
Experience with features such as HDR, tone mapping, noise reduction, or stabilization is required.
Proficiency in C/C++ and at least one of Python or MATLAB is required.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application to imaging systems is required.
Preferred experience includes ISP-based camera pipelines and ML-assisted or hybrid ISP imaging solutions.
