CAD Electromagnetic RFIC Simulation Engineer

What you'll do

• Maintain and support state-of-the-art Finite-Element 3D and Method-of-Moments electromagnetic solvers.
• Streamline and automate the entire SoC EM analysis CAD flow.
• Develop and validate EM simulation flows using first-principles of Maxwell’s equations and field theory.
• Model complex package and interposer structures to extract high-accuracy S-parameters.
• Ensure signal integrity, coupling, and shielding performance for advanced packaging and 3DIC systems.
• Collaborate with design groups to address electromagnetics requirements for post-layout flows.
• Work with EDA vendors and foundries for tool qualification, debugging, and enhancement.
• Develop large-scale software and scripts using Python, Tcl, Perl, or other programming languages.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor of Science degree.
• Must have at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in EDA tools, CAD flow, and RFIC methodology is required.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Tcl, Python, or Perl is required.
• Experience in electromagnetics analysis including extraction, timing, noise, simulation, physical design, and verification is required.
• Knowledge of industry leading EM solvers like HFSS, Clarity, Helic/VeloceRF, EMX, Q3D, VRF, Momentum, or ADS is preferred.
• Experience developing large scale software in multi-tech, multi-user, and multi-site environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in additional programming languages such as Shell, SKILL, C, or C++ for methodology debugging is preferred.
