What you'll do

  • Design SOI high-power switches for 4G/5G smartphone integrated RF Front-End modules.
  • Develop antenna switches, band switches, and matching circuits on SOI dies and compact PCB layouts.
  • Design high-performance bi-directional couplers and high-linearity step attenuators.
  • Generate innovative IPs for new RF circuits and systems to optimize module performance and cost.
  • Optimize conceptual designs from the transistor level to the PCB level for volume production.
  • Manage and develop SOI and PCB layouts.
  • Present design details and technology evaluations to various development teams.

What we're looking for

  • Ph.D. degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years’ direct design experience.
  • Solid experience developing SOI RF circuits with a proven track record of successful production deliveries.
  • Strong EM simulation skills using HFSS, EMX, and Clarity.
  • Expertise in SOI transistor modeling for small and large signals, including power matching and reliability analyses.
  • Hands-on experience with spectrum and network analyzers and RFIC design tools like Cadence Spectre, Golden Gate, AMS, and ADS.
  • Skilled in SOI transistor-level layouts, extractions, and ESD circuit design for digital, analog, and RF IOs.
  • Proficient in general CMOS RFIC, analog, and digital design (preferred).
