What you'll do

Architect and engineer complex, enterprise-level data product ecosystems.
Translate ambiguous business needs into robust full-stack technical solutions.
Own the system architecture and performance strategy for data products.
Perform advanced SQL performance tuning and database optimization.
Design data marts and warehouse architectures using Star Schema and Snowflake models.
Manage the full MS BI Stack including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI.
Implement ALM, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for analytics.
Formally mentor engineers to elevate the department's engineering maturity.

What we're looking for

Must be a California resident.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent experience accepted).
5 years of progressive, hands-on experience in BI Engineering, Data Product Development, or Full Stack Analytics.
Experience architecting and designing new, complex data solutions and data marts from scratch.
Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Experience formally mentoring other engineers.
Expert-level skills in SQL, ETL, Data Modeling, Application Design, and the full MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI).
Expert proficiency in Tableau architecture and data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake).
Deep knowledge of ALM, CI/CD, and DevOps for Analytics.
Epic Cogito Certification and multiple tool-specific certifications within one year of start date.
