As a Business Intelligence Analyst III, you will serve as an advanced analytical professional who bridges the gap between raw data and actionable strategy for the organization. You will work with minimal oversight to solve complex business questions, lead project teams, and provide data-driven recommendations to operational leaders. Your daily responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, building rapid proofs-of-concept, and mentoring junior team members while tackling novel problems without established procedures. To succeed, you must possess advanced skills in SQL for complex data extraction, as well as proficiency in Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, and Excel modeling. You will apply expertise in statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to deliver insights that drive financial or operational decisions. The role requires strong data storytelling to influence non-technical stakeholders within the healthcare domain.
Solve complex business questions by applying advanced analytical skills to novel problems without established procedures.
Translate raw data into actionable strategies and recommendations for operational leaders.
Lead the gathering of both business and technical requirements for various projects.
Build rapid proofs-of-concept (POCs) to test new ideas and solutions.
Develop advanced models and dashboards using Power BI or SSRS.
Write advanced SQL queries for complex data exploration and extraction.
Perform statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling to drive financial decisions.
Mentor junior team members on technical and analytical tasks.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
5 years of recent relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related analytical role.
Proven experience independently solving complex business problems using advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
Strong experience building advanced models and dashboards in Power BI or SSRS.
Advanced SQL skills for complex data exploration, extraction, and analysis including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, and CTEs.
Experience leading small-to-medium analytical projects.
Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling concepts.
Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills to influence non-technical stakeholders.
