What you'll do

  • Develop and advance mission-focused, integrated solutions using IBM’s portfolio to address critical challenges for defense agencies.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior military and civilian leaders to understand their specific mission needs.
  • Collaborate with internal IBM teams and external partners to architect differentiated, end-to-end technical solutions.
  • Design and refine client-specific solutions incorporating AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and advanced analytics for defense priorities.
  • Identify new mission areas and emerging requirements to expand long-term growth within the defense community.
  • Translate complex defense requirements into actionable, high-value technology proposals that deliver measurable impact.

What we're looking for

  • Master's Degree (preferred).
  • Proven ability to develop and advance mission-aligned solutions for Defense Agencies and Combatant Commands.
  • Track record of fostering relationships with senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Experience collaborating within complex organizations and with industry partners to deliver value propositions.
  • Ability to design tailored solutions addressing unique operational, technical, and mission challenges in the defense sector.
  • Knowledge of partnership ecosystems, defense trends, acquisition pathways, and digital modernization (preferred).
  • Federal Security Clearance (preferred).
