Business Analyst - Fixed Income Workflow Lead, VP - State Street Investment Management serves as a key lead for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of Fixed Income Index portfolio management workflows across front-office investment management platforms. The role involves partnering with Portfolio Managers and technology teams to translate business priorities into scalable solutions while managing instrument onboarding, data management, and identity access processes. You will drive workflow standardization, improve operational resiliency, and manage demand engagement to ensure high data quality and control effectiveness. Required expertise includes deep Fixed Income Index knowledge, front-office investment workflows, and experience with platforms such as CRIMS, Charles River IMS, Aladdin, SimCorp, or ThinkFolio. The position focuses on solving complex portfolio management challenges by aligning business needs with technical capabilities in a global asset management environment to ensure audit readiness and seamless execution.
Design and evolve portfolio management workflows for instrument onboarding, data management, and access control.
Optimize front-office investment management platforms to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational resiliency.
Translate complex business requirements from investment teams into scalable technology solutions.
Facilitate structured engagement forums to capture, refine, and track business demands.
Serve as a subject matter expert on portfolio management workflows and supporting technology systems.
Ensure proper governance over onboarding, entitlements, and access management processes.
Coordinate with technology and control functions to ensure audit readiness across all workflow domains.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Significant Asset Management experience with deep Fixed Income Index business expertise.
Strong understanding of portfolio management workflows, investment processes, and front-office operating models.
Experience leveraging investment management platforms to support portfolio management, trading, analytics, and investment workflows.
Proven ability to translate business needs into workflow and technology solutions.
Strong stakeholder management skills across investment, operations, and technology teams.
Experience supporting global portfolio management organizations (preferred).
Experience with front-office investment management platforms such as CRIMS, Charles River IMS, Aladdin, SimCorp, ThinkFolio, or similar technologies (preferred).
