As a Backend Java Software Engineer III, you will join the engineering team to execute software solutions, design complex applications, and perform technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches. You will be responsible for creating secure production code, maintaining synchronous algorithms, and producing architecture artifacts while ensuring all design constraints are met. Your daily work involves analyzing large data sets to identify patterns that improve coding hygiene and system architecture. The role requires over ten years of experience with Java Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Rest API. You will work within a large corporate environment using MS SQL Server, Oracle, and SQL while navigating the full Software Development Life Cycle through CI/CD and agile methodologies. Additionally, you will utilize enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to enhance code quality, refactoring, and unit test creation across complex technical deliverables.
Develop, test, and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms for complex applications.
Design architecture artifacts and ensure software development meets specific design constraints.
Troubleshoot technical problems and develop innovative solutions beyond conventional approaches.
Analyze large datasets to create visualizations and reports for continuous system improvement.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Utilize enterprise-authorized AI tools to accelerate code generation, refactoring, and unit test creation.
Validate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure security, performance, and accuracy.
Implement software solutions using Java Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Ability to code in Java Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Rest API.
Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages (MS SQL Server, Oracle, SQL).
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline like cloud.
Experience with Kafka implementations or MQ (preferred).
Exposure to cloud technologies such as AWS (preferred).
