As an Associate SAP Technology Specialist within the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, you will join the SAP practice to help organizations operate, secure, analyze, and improve enterprise technology platforms. You will work on real client projects to support critical business operations across various industries. Depending on business needs, you may develop specialized expertise in SAP Basis and HANA Basis for infrastructure, SAP BW/HANA for data and analytics, or SAP HANA Application Security for cybersecurity. You will utilize skills in programming, databases, operating systems, cloud technologies, and data analytics. The role involves system configuration, monitoring, data modeling, ETL, and identity and access management. You will collaborate with developers and architects to solve complex business challenges using technologies like SQL, Linux, and Artificial Intelligence.
Support the technology infrastructure behind SAP applications, including system configuration, monitoring, and performance.
Develop and support enterprise data and analytics solutions involving data modeling and ETL processes.
Protect SAP applications and enterprise data through security configuration and identity management.
Analyze technical information to troubleshoot problems and apply structured problem-solving approaches.
Contribute to real-world client projects to help solve complex business challenges through technology.
Translate business requirements into technology solutions while working with multidisciplinary teams.
Build specialized SAP expertise through structured learning, certifications, and hands-on experience.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Must be currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Must have a foundational understanding of programming, databases, operating systems, cloud technologies, information systems, data analytics, cybersecurity, or other enterprise technology concepts.
Must have exposure to technical areas such as software development, databases, system administration, cloud computing, data and analytics, cybersecurity, networking, or application support through coursework, labs, projects, internships, research, certifications, or personal learning.
Must have the ability to analyze technical information, troubleshoot problems, and apply structured problem-solving approaches.
Must demonstrate application of technical, analytical, or problem-solving skills through coursework, projects, labs, internships, research, hackathons, certifications, IBM SkillsBuild, student organizations, or other practical learning experiences.
Exposure to enterprise applications, SAP, databases, cloud platforms, system administration, data analytics, cybersecurity, or application support through coursework, labs, projects, certifications, internships, or personal learning (preferred).
