As an Associate Application Developer within the IBM Tech & Red Hat practice, you will join a consulting team focused on delivering technical expertise to diverse public and private sector clients. You will work on projects involving application modernization, automation, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise platforms to help organizations improve operations and accelerate digital innovation. Your daily work involves collaborating with architects, developers, and AI specialists while building skills in software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, and cloud computing. The role requires proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, along with SQL knowledge and experience with Git version control. You will also engage with technologies like Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps to solve complex business challenges through the integration of artificial intelligence and automated processes across various industries.

What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Must possess foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
Must have foundational knowledge of SQL and understanding of software development fundamentals, databases, APIs, cloud computing, and enterprise applications.
Must have exposure to application development, data, or cloud-related projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal learning.
Must be familiar with Git or similar version control tools.
Exposure to open-source technologies, containers, cloud platforms, or modern application development (preferred).
Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, or automation concepts (preferred).
Interest in hybrid cloud, Artificial Intelligence, and continuous learning (preferred).
