As an Associate Application Developer AWS - 2027, you will join the AWS practice within the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers. You will support the development of scalable applications and cloud solutions, helping organizations transform operations and accelerate digital innovation through modern cloud technologies. Your day-to-day work involves collaborating with consultants, developers, and AI specialists to build solutions involving automation, data, and AI-enabled systems. You will utilize foundational knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript, alongside APIs, databases, and version control tools like Git. The role focuses on solving complex business challenges across diverse sectors, including healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing, by implementing cloud-native development, serverless computing, microservices, and container concepts to drive large-scale digital transformation.
Develop scalable applications and cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services technologies.
Support organizations in transforming customer service and improving operations through modern applications.
Contribute to real-world client projects across various industries like healthcare, finance, and retail.
Build and deploy AI-enabled solutions to help clients solve complex business challenges.
Implement automation and cloud computing strategies to accelerate digital innovation for clients.

What we're looking for
Must be currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Must have foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Must understand software development, APIs, databases, cloud computing, and application architectures.
Must have exposure to web applications, cloud concepts, or application development through coursework, projects, internships, or personal learning.
Must be familiar with Git or similar version control tools.
Exposure to AWS, cloud-native development, serverless computing, or microservices concepts (preferred).
Familiarity with containers, APIs, cloud platforms, or DevOps concepts (preferred).
