Senior Associate, Software Engineering: Software Development Test (SDET)

What you'll do

• Design and execute performance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Create, maintain, and enhance LoadRunner scripts, test scenarios, and script repositories.
• Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks and generate findings reports.
• Develop and maintain performance test automation scripts in Python or Java and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute failover and disaster recovery testing across primary, secondary, and tertiary regions for applications and databases.
• Validate RTO/RPO metrics and post-failover performance against SLAs and regulatory requirements.
• Correlate performance results with APM platforms like Splunk and Dynatrace to generate dashboards and trend analysis.

What we're looking for

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing using LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• 2+ years of experience designing and executing failover/disaster recovery testing in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in LoadRunner scripting, Python, or Java for test automation and data generation.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments, Kafka, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab) and APM/observability platforms like Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Experience testing multi-region architectures, distributed systems, or highly regulated low-latency financial environments.
• Performance testing certification, AWS certification, or experience in the Options/Futures industry (preferred).
