What you'll do

  • Design and execute performance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling across AWS and on-premise environments.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance LoadRunner scripts, test scenarios, and script repositories.
  • Analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and anomalies while generating findings reports for leadership.
  • Develop and maintain performance test automation scripts in Python or Java integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute failover and disaster recovery testing across multi-region cloud and hybrid architectures.
  • Validate RTO/RPO metrics and post-failover performance against strict regulatory requirements and SLAs.
  • Correlate performance results with APM tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics to create dashboards.
  • Test multi-region deployments for replication lag, data consistency, and Kafka topic behavior.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing using LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and executing failover/disaster recovery testing in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Proficiency in Python or Java for test automation, data generation, and developing automation frameworks.
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments, including knowledge of performance implications for cloud-native applications.
  • Working knowledge of Kafka, event-driven systems, and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab) and APM platforms like Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
  • Performance engineering certification, AWS certification, or experience in the Options/Futures industry (preferred).
