What you'll do

Design and execute comprehensive performance test plans, load profiles, and ramp scenarios for high-volume transaction systems.
Execute performance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling to analyze results and recommend system optimizations.
Lead disaster recovery testing across primary, secondary, and tertiary regions to ensure multi-region failover capabilities.
Build and maintain performance test automation frameworks using Python, Java, and open-source tools.
Develop CI/CD-integrated pipelines in Jenkins or GitHub Actions for continuous performance validation and regression testing.
Validate Kafka producer/consumer behavior, replication lag, and data consistency during failover events.
Ensure all systems meet regulatory RTO/RPO requirements and comply with financial market infrastructure regulations.
Document test evidence, methodologies, and trend analysis to support regulatory audits and internal reporting.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, an analytical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering including complex scenario design and execution.
5+ years of experience in failover/DR testing across multi-region cloud and hybrid architectures.
Proficiency in scripting and programming using Python, Java, and JavaScript to develop performance frameworks.
Expertise with LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, and integration into CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Experience with AWS environments, Kubernetes, Kafka, and various relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
Background in finance or highly regulated, low-latency, high-availability systems (clearing, settlement, risk).
AWS certification or performance engineering certification (preferred); experience in the Options and Futures industry (preferred).
