As an Associate Finance Specialist (SAP) – 2027, you will join the IBM Consulting FutureNow team to help clients modernize financial processes and improve performance through technology. What you'll do

Support SAP-enabled finance processes including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, budgeting, and forecasting.
Translate financial requirements into technical solutions using SAP technology and automation tools.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
Participate in SAP configuration, testing, data validation, and solution implementation activities.
Support finance process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting.
Communicate financial analysis and recommendations clearly to both business and technical audiences.
Apply accounting knowledge to ensure transaction flows meet internal controls and reporting standards.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
MBA candidates with relevant finance or accounting experience are eligible to apply.
Must possess a strong foundational understanding of finance and accounting concepts like general ledger, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ability to analyze financial data to identify trends, evaluate processes, and develop structured recommendations.
Demonstrated application of analytical or business problem-solving skills through coursework, internships, or projects.
Ability to communicate financial information and analysis clearly to both business and technical audiences.
Interest in developing expertise in SAP, AI, automation, and digital transformation.
Experience with financial systems, ERP concepts, or data visualization tools is preferred.
